Workshop 2023
(hybrid format)
Biodiversity Genomics:
Genomic methods applied to non-model species
May 22 - 25, 2023
UFMG, Belo Horizonte, MG - Brazil
The workshop ‘Genomic Methods in Non-Model Organisms’ organised by Genotropics will cover current methods of genomic sequencing, genome assembly, as well as evolutionary questions that can be addressed by genomic data. Students attending the workshop must have a solid background in molecular biology, population genetics and/or phylogenetics, as well as research topics that are relevant to the subject and can benefit from the Workshop.

Organisers:
This Workshop will be offered in Portuguese by researchers and students based in German institutions (Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (IZW), Museum of Natural History Stuttgart, Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich), as well as partners from Brazilian institutions (UFMG, PUC-RS and UNICAMP) that are part of the Genotropics Consortium.
